Second Floor - Halfway framed in

There was a few rainy days this week, but it didn't seem to slow down construction too much. The front half of the second floor is up, as well as some interior walls.

The bonus room in the back of the house is the last section that needs framing.

Seeing walls in the master suite gives a better perspective on the room.
The perspective from my home office; doors are being framed for the french doors, and the opening to the right is the entryway to the dining room.
If you were sitting at the breakfast bar, this would be the view towards the front of the house, dining room on the left, home office on the right.

If you stand in the family room and look up, right now it's open - but you can see the door that will lead into the guest suite.

There is another house with the same floor plan(less the bonus room) on the street that's further along in construction .  We went through it, and while it's also the reverse floor plan, it was good to see what the change in kitchen layout looks like - much more functional then the first time they built the plan.
Thirty-three doors and drawers in the kitchen, still need to add up the doors and drawers in the 3 1/2 bathrooms, and start looking for either pulls or knobs.

I love seeing progress, and so excited to see things moving along.
